NOTE: Few customers wrote us that in last version of AA classic was added under valve spring iron roller. This roller has to be removed to get valve spring preload right.

It is appropriate before reading the instructions look at the video instructions and then read the instructions for avoiding common mistakes during installation AirAmrs

Mount regulator

Drain all air from airtube and unscrew coupler between airtube and barrel. Unscrew airtube and unscrew manometr too, deflect manometr and unsrew bolt under him.
Replace original airchamber with new one which is send with regulator. Screw this new airchamber in such depth that from top of valve to top of this new airchamber is distance 7,9mm.
By doing this and screwing it in right position you set optimal spring preload. Screw small bolt under manometr so new airchamber can not be unscrewed anymore. Put manometr back in original position and screw manometr holder. Check inside of airtube and o-ring on regulator, all should be clean without any damage. Spray thread inside of airtube and o-ring on regulator with silicone spray. Push regulator inside airtube (brass regulator towards quickfill). Then push airchamber in airtube too. It should be pushed in such depth that you see approximately half of inner thread inside of airtube. Take airchamber out and put it next to valve, attach airtube and start screwing airtube back on airgun valve. By screwing it back ( with airchamber inside ) you get your regulator in right position. Installation is complete.

Before filling is needed stretch cocking lever rifle, otherwise air will still pass through the barrel. When filling is necessary to fully open the valve diving bottle until in airtube  is  70bar or more, then it is possible fulfill the a normal speed.

Set regulator

The pressure setting is done by  using a flat screwdriver in the upper part of the regulator.  When we setting regulator we rotate with  inside plastic screw with groove. The output pressure is showed by location colored grooves on the inner plastic screw. The total rotation range of the output pressure is in the range from 100 to 150 bar and is approximately 1/2 turn.

Scale is starting on 100 bar (green color) and ends on 150 bar (red color). Scale is only approximate and course times may change slightly due to fatigue disc springs. Fill the airtube to the maximum pressure which is mentioned by manufacturer.

Recommended output pressure to 16 J is in the range of 100 to 120 bar.

Shipment contains

  • Regulator
  • Brass handle for regulator
  • Airchamber
  • Spare o-rings

Recommended settings rifle after installing the regulator. Set a side screw that restricts the flow through channel in the barrel to achieve minimum consumption at 16J.

Remove the side screw, which is interfere in the channel and then try screw it little by little back until it begins to decrease Shooting speed.

Warning

You must keep maximum cleanness in the entire pressure system (airtube and outer o-rings). Do not disassemble the regulator without previous approval, which will be awarded based on e-mail correspondence, where you provide the reason why it would be necessary to disassemble the regulator. In the case of breach this procedure you may damage the regulator function (fully assembled regulator is not simple and it is necessary to follow the correct procedure). For these reasons, the disassembly without previous consent,or failure exact installation procedure can not claim the warranty. Since regulator is not original part from the manufacturer’s, installation is on your own responsibility.

Measurements were performed with a small airtube. With larger airtube will by number of shots higher. Around 90-120 shots.

Video Installation

What to do when your output pressure increasing over time? This is most likely caused by dirt on o-ring on plastic screw.

In this video is shown how remove dirt and replace o-ring . In video is used Gunpower regulator. Procedure is same for others regulator.

Product options note

These data is only information for us, not mandatory values. For example, if your rifle is currently set on 16J, then you can not with regulator expects higher energy than 16J. The regulator can never increase energy!

For more information, please read FAQ section or contact us by e-mail.

Output pressure we set according to requirements the power rifle with the regulator. If you want a specific output pressure so indicate that in notes for orders.

If you do not know any product options, or you are unsure so please state this in the notes for orders.
