The External CZ200 regulator is simply screwed between the valve and the cartridge.

The regulator extends airtube by 50 mm towards the barrel mouth.

For this reason, it is a good idea to use this regulator with short airtube to avoid collision with silencer.

The main advantage of the external controller is that it does not take up space in the airtube, which leads to a larger number of regulated shots.

Regulator can be used only with quickfill.

Airgun regulator for Airgun CZ200

This Airgun Regulator does not need drilling in the tank. Simple installation. Setting on rifle is the same as for the old installation. This regulator has to be used only with quickfill, because airtube can not be filled through the regulator.

Videos for installation and proper use regulator in the airgun CZ200

CZ200 video Installation will be added soon.

What to do when your output pressure increasing over time? This is most likely caused by dirt on o-ring on plastic screw.

In this video is shown how remove dirt and replace o-ring . In video is used Gunpower regulator. Procedure is the same for other regulators.

Installation instruction for CZ200 air rifle pressure regulator

It is appropriate before reading the instructions look at the video instructions and then read the instructions for avoiding common mistakes during installation Regulator Fitting Instructions for S200 UK Model (CZ200T)

You will need the following very basic items

  • A good strong vice
  • A pair of Stilsons (pipe wrench)
  • A flat screw driver
  • A piece of abrasive paper about 6” x 4” – Some green P80 AlyOxide will do fine
  • A pair of Hex head machine screws – M5 should do nicely

Step 1

Cut the screws down so that the length of the screw is not long enough to touch the bottom of the 4.2mm holes in the brass end cap. Turn the diameter of the threads down so that it forms a push fit in the hole – You don’t need to lose a lot – Hold the hex head firmly in the chuck of a variable speed electric drill and filed it down gently with a smooth file while the screw was rotating – slowly! Check that you are getting tight fit to holes in the cap.

Step 2

Discharge the air from the cylinder and remove it from the rifle. Moderator comes off first to let the cylinder out. Put the rifle away somewhere safe and clean. Wrap the abrasive paper tightly around the cylinder going around itself once – ROUGH SIDE OUT – and clamp it in the vice firmly but taking care not to compress the metal. The paper goes on about 3” from the brass.

Step 3

Drive the screws into the holes – Press them in by hand to start with, then a slight tap with a light hammer – or compress them into the holes with the vice. Take care to orient a pair of flats of the hex head parallel to the length if the cylinder so that the Stilson jaws don’t come up against a corner.

Step 4

Carefully get the Stilson on the hex heads taking care not to touch the brass with the wrench. Tighten Stilson wheel as much as possible. Then, apply firm continuous pressure on the screws turning them anti-clock wise. The cap will start to turn. Be patient with this step.

If the cap does not come free and you feel the cylinder turning in the vice, gently tighten the vice a little bit more.

Step 5

Once the cap starts to turn, all you need is finger pressure. Leaving the hex head screws in place, unscrew the brass cap completely. The aluminium tube attached to it also unscrews with finger pressure.

Step 6

Once it is off, use the screwdriver to screw in the brass screw inside the cap till it is 10mm deep. If you have and AT-free rifle, you would screw in this brass s crew all the way in, then ease back (unscrew) by 1/2 turn to reduce the air coming out

Step 7

Now just screw regulator in airtube and then in valve.

Un-restrict the side screw on the action and set it to get the desired legal UK output of sub-12 ft.lbs** Remember, higher power does not equal higher accuracy!

After regulator is installed it is necessary to limit firing pin spring to ensure lower air consumption. By doing this you can increase number of regulated shots (even after this setting you will still remain on energy 16j). This screw is located under the handle stretching, it is necessary to take stock off from air rifle . Loosen the screw so that the screw head is at the same level as the airgun body edge.

Remove the screws from the holes – you may need a set of pliers to pull them out – they should have left absolutely no visible damage.

Warning

You must keep maximum cleanness in the entire pressure system (airtube and outer o-rings). Do not disassemble the regulator without previous approval, which will be awarded based on e-mail correspondence, where you provide the reason why it would be necessary to disassemble the regulator. In the case of breach this procedure you may damage the regulator function (fully assembled regulator is not simple and it is necessary to follow the correct procedure). For these reasons, the disassembly without previous consent, or failure exact installation procedure can not claim the warranty. Since regulator is not original part from the manufacturer’s, installation is on your own responsibility.

Setting pressure of airgun regulator

Altaros regulator output pressure can be set from 100bar (1450 PSI) to 150bar (2200 PSI) and after consultation of up to 170bar (2500PSI) which corresponds to the rotation of the screw behind value 150bar so that the line of the screw is pointing to the letter R. For a quick setting is on regulator engraved scale according to which the desired output pressure can be set. The total scale range of 100-150bar corresponds to approximately 2/3 turn Unscrewing, or screwing setting screw more than 1 turn may result in a malfunction of the regulation and scale will not show you regulated pressure. Groove on red marked half of setting plastic screw represents pointer which shows you currently set pressure on the scale. To change the pressure on regulator, just simply rotate the set screw with the flat screwdriver in the appropriate direction according to regulator scale.

In this picture you will find an old scale (set at 100 bar), which we no longer sell.

Results with installed regulator in air gun CZ200

With this rifle, especially foreign version 7.5 J, which has a different input channel into the barrel (about 1.2 mm compared to 3 mm as the CZ 200 viz. Foto) can not normally reach speeds 16J. Moreover, this version has not side screw for tuning consistency, because the basic consistency for 7.5J is done by a small channel which reduces the flow. To enlarge the muzzle velocity, the initial channel in the barrel increases to a similar diameter as the CZ 200 S ie the 2.5-3mm. This is resulting in worsening due to the lack of consistency and side screw may be an acceptable consistency without regulator hard achieve.

Here I attach the results of foreign CZ 200T set according to the owner about 13J at the canal was enlarged to 2.5mm. There is consistency compared with the regulator and those without.

Left barrel CZ 200T with channel about 1.25 mm, CZ 200S right channel with 3 mm

Tuned CZ 200T 13J with the regulator. It can also set more than 16j, but the owner wanted 13J.
